11th Annual Local Sightings Film Festival Competition Winners Announced

Congratulations to the competition winners of this year's Local Sightings. Orbita del Verano by Kristian McKay takes home the prize for best short, and Arid Lands by Josh Wallaert and Grant Aaker wins best feature. The winning feature will receive $4,000 and the short $1,700. Congratulations to our winners and thanks to this year's jurors: Dean Otto, Mary Trimarco and Robb Moss.

Children's Film Festival Workshops

Sign up soon for our popular Children's Film Festival Seattle workshops.  This year we have three fantastic offerings:  Festival Trailer 2010!, Something To Hold On To: A Documentary Filmmaking Workshop, and Lego Zombie Attack! The Movie.  Classes are appropriate for ages 7-12.

Access Programs & Artist Opportunities at Northwest Film Forum

Northwest Film Forum offers its resources free of charge through a variety of programs to assist local filmmakers in the creation of their artistic productions. There are two categories of artist support: equipment access and production resources.

Programs are project-based; a project proposal and work sample are required for consideration.
