As a local hot spot for film- and video-related projects, the Film Forum also becomes the de facto site of many gear donations, filmmaking tools, promotional posters, et cetera - think "Katamari Damacy," but everything that we pick up is cool. On April 23rd, we're inviting the public to browse - you could walk away with a piece of local film history!
* Film posters (saw something? loved it? we probably still have the poster!)
* Rare gear & equipment
* Baby grand piano
During the rummage sale, one of our cinemas will be home to an ALL-DAY MARATHON OF 80S WORKOUT VIDEOS - bring your yoga clothes and sweat with us to the oldies in a collective effort to conjure the whereabouts of Richard Simmons!
But as always, our community is the real star attraction here - take this opportunity to come meet, network, trade tips or gear with each other, and check out our drink specials. ;)
This event will be free and open to the public; some items will be free with a suggested donation, others will be priced, but all proceeds will go to benefit Northwest Film Forum, a community film organization that you love and that loves you.
If you have film equipment that you would like to donate to benefit the Forum, please email our House Manager Louie Romo at [email protected]!
