Women on the Brink: Voice & Vision is an evening of literary and film arts celebrating the fierce feminine in support of free self defense classes for women on Capitol Hill.
 
Conjuring a response about pervasive violence against women, Sheri-D Wilson, poet, filmmakers Melissa Woodrow and Tracy Rector, writer/filmmaker Julie Trimingham and spoken word artists Storme Webber, Blu TheBaqi, Molly Billows, and Natasha Marin will present work that honors, evokes, provokes, and embodies the feminine, as individually defined.
 
The audience will be invited to engage with the artists at a reception following the performances. Books will be available for sale and signing.
