Sex trafficking is a huge problem in U.S., and Seattle has more problems than we realize. We hear about the global crisis of human trafficking, but did you know it is happening in our own backyard? It is a crisis that will take thousands to help fight it as the solutions are very complex.

This event and fundraiser will help educate, inspire and tangibly support programs that emphasize at least one of the "4Ps:" protection, prosecution, provision & prevention.

Very Young Girls focuses on the work of a former sexually exploited youth-turned-activist named Rachel Lloyd, who started the New York City organization GEMS (Girls Educational and Mentoring Services) to help victimized young women escape their pimps and make a new start. Some of the teenage girls she works with have been so psychologically manipulated by their pimps that they continue to fall back into old routines. However, some have been able to make a cleaner break with their past.
