We're messin' with the M. Not Fritz Lang's bad dude, but "Metal," as in the whole concept. The feeling among certain quarters is that metal, new wave, and punk rock have excellent reasons to feast together. Thus, Fantagraphics author Boyreau and archivist Aboulafia have pieced two totally different nights of extreme music mash, drawing together strictly live performances from such artists as Judas Priest, The Jam, Iron Maiden, The Ramones, Black Flag, Slayer, Motorhead, The Runaways, Gwar, Metallica, and yes even Oliver Reed.
