Since 1995, UK based art collective The Light Surgeons have been developing their own unique style of creative media “surgery” and pioneering a new form of audiovisual narrative. Founder Chris Allen and his collaborators have created live mixed media performance, music videos, short films and installations that blend appropriated imagery, original photography, motion graphics, field recordings, audio interviews, and music. This retrospective program spans the past decade, from earlier collage films to their latest documentary short, Schlemazeltov.
